Our commitment to fiscal responsibility and limited government intervention reflects my belief that the government exists to serve the people, not dictate their lives, echoing the wisdom of our Founders who entrusted power to the states and the people. I am anchored by a profound respect for the Constitution and a deep-seated dedication to upholding the state’s sovereignty. With each passing day amidst the downward spiral of modernity, I cling tightly to the timeless ideals that have guided us through generations. I proudly embrace American Exceptionalism, recognizing our nation’s extraordinary role in shaping history under divine providence, as the Founders affirmed. Being a Republican transcends mere political affiliation; it is a deeply personal commitment to upholding the values that define us. It is a dedication to ensuring equality, justice, and opportunity for all, regardless of background or circumstance, as we love our neighbor. In my beloved state of Idaho, I stand as a guardian of tradition and a champion of progress. It underscores the belief in the power of the market to allocate resources efficiently, the importance of balanced budgets, and the value of personal and economic freedom.

Emphasizing government as a servant, not a master

Rooted in Romans 13:4’s view of authority as God’s servant for good, this is pivotal for maintaining a balance of power that respects the rights and liberties of individuals. This perspective ensures that government actions are always in the service of its citizens, prioritizing their well-being and freedoms above all. It affirms that the people are the true government, as our Founders declared in the Declaration of Independence, deriving just powers from the consent of the governed, not elected officials who merely represent and serve them. This aligns with the doctrine of the lesser magistrates, a Reformation principle where lower authorities, such as state and local officials, have the duty to interpose and resist higher powers when they impose unjust or immoral decrees, protecting the populace from tyranny as seen in the Magdeburg Confession of 1550 and echoed in America’s revolutionary stand. Such an approach fosters a more accountable, decentralized, and people-centric government.

Strategic Advocate for Fiscal Responsibility and Liberty: Committed to the Republican ideals of low taxes, free enterprise, and personal responsibility, I’ll fight for school choice to empower parents and economic policies that let Idaho families thrive without burdensome intervention. My resolutions, like the unanimous “Zinc Flash” on soul imputation and the stand against antisemitic disinformation, demonstrate my resolve to counter falsehoods with historical and scientific truth.
Community-Focused Leader: Rooted in Post Falls, as a husband, father, and active Christian apologetics teacher, I prioritize justice and equality for all, guided by Christ’s command to love our neighbor (Mark 12:31). Daniel Fry is a steadfast Conservative Christian, a dedicated father of five children, three girls and two boys, and a husband celebrating 25 years of faithful marriage. The son of a Navy veteran and a former Army service member himself, Dan has lived in multiple states before witnessing the persistent deterioration of Washington. Seeking a safe haven where his family could embrace the joys of childhood riding bikes, forming close-knit bonds, and rooting in traditional values, he relocated to Post Falls, Idaho. Here, where has lived going on six years. Dan fosters a community where neighbors know and look out for one another, echoing the pioneer spirit that built our great state. Professionally, Dan brings versatility and leadership as a public speaker, instructor, and Christian apologist, defending core beliefs against modern challenges. His military service includes two overseas tours, one in Iraq and one in Afghanistan, where he served as a crew chief and flight crew member, delivering fire and logistics support to warfighters in remote regions. Beyond his accolades, Dan is a pillar of his community, striving to preserve Post Falls’ traditional values in an ever-evolving world.
